American Indian Community House Thunderbird American Indian Dancers Benefit

Saturday, January 20, 2018 -
7:00pm to 8:30pm
$10 at link

Thunderbird American Indian Dancers have been delighting audiences in the US, Canada, Israel and Japan, and performing in NYC in such venues as Lincoln Center, the Museum of Natural History, Barnard College, and The National Museum of the American Indian.

The troupe was founded in 1963 by a group of 10 men and women— all New Yorkers, all descended from Mohawk, Hopi, Winnebago and San Blas tribes; and, at the time, all among the first generation born outside of reservations. Thunderbird’s mission is to keep alive the traditions, and to bring the public a more realistic picture and greater understanding of the American Indian people.

Come out to Ethical for an evening of traditional Native American songs, dances, and more.
