Rabbi Pollack will speak about the holiness of the encounter, political pilgrimage, and sacrifice through the lens of March on Harrisburg, a Pennsylvania pro-democracy group working to fight fascism with democracy.
Rabbi Michael Pollack grew up in Rockville, Maryland. During his last year of rabbinical school, he founded March on Harrisburg, a group dedicated to healing our wounded democracy by passing anti-corruption, pro-democracy bills in Pennsylvania. Michael’s hobbies include convincing politicians to not be corrupt, long marches through the Pennsylvania countryside, and sitting down in inconvenient places in the State Capitol.
