Our Ethical Action committee works to create community efforts and opportunities for making a difference. Society members have participated in marches and protests, undertaken letter-writing campaings and been involved with many other ongoing ethical action efforts. The work of the Public Issues Committee in particular has been integral in creating positions on areas of ethical concern endorsed by the Society and its Board.
On Sundays during brunch, our Ethical Action table gives a space for members to promote issues of personal importance to them and opportunities for action.
Our LaCite Knitting Circle is a community gathering that happens at brunch each Sunday. Members and non-members alike can learn how to knit while working to create blankets for people in need.
