Scott Blakeman is a standup comedian who brings a blend of progressive political and contemporary Jewish humor to his work. Together with Palestinian-American comedian Dean Obeidallah, he co-founded Stand Up for Peace, a project that reaches across borders of misunderstanding to bring people together in laughter. Scott has performed at the Society before. This time he will also strike a serious note as he discusses the ways in which humor can help us become more ethical people.
