Felix Adler made few institutional proclamations, focusing his considerable energies instead on a unique and inseparable joining of individual and social ethics. But in the above quoted advice he puts forth the formula that guided the Ethical Movement through its formative stages: What are the social wants, what are our capabilities, and how can we best give expression to our ethics toward social reform? How can we best make our strengths count in a world in desperate need of moral anchorage? All members are welcome and encouraged to attend.
