Drawing classes at the New York Society for Ethical Culture are designed to enable participants to express themselves individually. Drawing with pencil, charcoal, and pastels will be practiced. Study of line, form, and composition will be on-going. No previous drawing experience is required. Artists at all levels are encouraged to ‘embark on a new adventure.’
A profession artist and teacher who has exhibited her paintings and drawings throughout the tri-state area, will teach the eight-week sessions.

A book signing of Blackwater will follow the event. There will be a suggested donation of $10 at the door.

A Delicate Balance, Edward Albee’s great play. This play won the Pulitzer Prize, as well as the Tony Award. It brings to life the attempts of an older couple to maintain the uneasy peace of their life together when their married daughter and lifelong friends all try to move into their home at the same time!
Cast includes Carole and Jerry Chamlin, Pat Debrovner, Penelope Ghartey John Lovelady, and Linda Moody. Director will be Elaine Berman, and Patricia Cohen will lead a discussion on the ethical issues of the play. Members $5. Nonmember $10.
