There are four men's parts and five women's parts. Drawing As A Springboard

No previous drawing experience is required. Artists at all levels are encouraged to "take the plunge."
Instructor will be Barbara Litke, who is an artist and teacher who received a Master of Fine Arts degree from Brooklyn College. She has exhibited her paintings and drawings throughout the tri-state area. She taught art to adults and youngsters.

Unpacking Humanist Manifesto III

First of a three-session series on Humanism presented by Tony Hileman, Senior Leader.
Hear Humanist come alive as Tony who served on the Drafting Committee for Humanist Manifesto III, explains its conceptual boundaries in a positive, accessible way, and unpacks its central elements in plain and simple terms. An open exchange during a question and answer session will follow his presentation.

Parents are still the greatest influence on their children's lives. This session focuses on creating an ethical home environment and what parents can do to foster their children's ethical personality. There will be a separate activity or discussion for any kids who come.

At this workshop, parents will learn about the new rulebook for raising teens, receive insight and hope, and get the help they need to safely steer their teenage children through the stormy waters of adolescence. We will offer child care for little ones, but no directed activity for older kids (though of course they are welcome to come and read or "hang!")
